Graham would like thank all the helpers and supporters for all their hard work over the past few weeks. It has been a roller coaster campaign with a final swing away from us in the last few days.
We are now in a new political landscape following an election where the people chose to give no party an overall majority. The voting Public wanted politicians to put aside their differences and work together to sort out our nation's problems. Lib Dem policies and pledges will now begin to make a real, positive difference to people's lives because of our role in the Coalition Government.
Here in Stirling our Lib Dem Councillors Graham Reed, Ian Brown and David Goss will continue to work hard for you all year round.
In 10 Weeks the Lib Dems have had a huge influence in Government
Thanks to Lib Dem involvement, the Government will deliver four key priorities: fairer taxes; a fair start for children with extra funding for disadvantaged pupils; a comprehensive clean up of our politics, including a fairer voting system; and a green, sustainable economy.
