The Alloa Advertiser has reported that the Covid-19 has impacted the delivery of the City Region Deal programme and that promised government funding has been delayed. The Scottish Liberal Democrats will hold the Clackmannanshire Council to account, to ensure that the City Region Deal will attract quality businesses and jobs to Clackmannanshire. We've also been campaigning for better bus and train services.
There is still a Climate Emergency and we need Clacks Council to be part of the solution to help transform Clacks into a zero carbon economy. We have an opportunity to design a green jobs led recovery for Clacks, out of the Covid19 epidemic. With improved transport along with better job opportunities, we can raise the potential of Clacks.
